Des Moines half marathon. Ran first 5 with Scott but he talked off after that. Ran miles 5 to 13 with a guy and he went ahead but I caught him the last mile only for him to our kick me the last .2 miles. Ran a little fast to start but got into a comfortable groove until about mile 10 where I really started to hurt. Ran smooth and kicked the last mile mile. I was painful but not terrible. I am so happy with the race and getting under 1:18 and setting a minute ten pr. Really looking forward to not running as much ams getting more time in the pool.
