This was great! Green SF, blue toe socks, running skirt, short sleeve shirt, hat, sun glasses, hand water bottle with 1/4 strength gatorade. Jim Anderson paced me in second half; fantastic. Late start due to spacing out and not putting on bib or chip. Playing catch up most of first loop. I think I saw 26:43 on the clock at my 5K split; so I was probably closer to 24:30 or so at my 5K split. Best I've run a 10K in a long time. 10 miler yesterday didn't seem to phase me. LImit was defnitely my breathing compared to leg speed or anything else. Need to use tempo runs to get my cardio/breathing back in shape.
