This is a personal record for this race by 1min 17 seconds over last year, when weather was the best it's ever been!
Last year was 40:53.54 for me. This year official time was 39:37 flat according to their score keeping. I was 4th just a few strides behind Suzanne Furr. I carried water with me and left it behind around 4m or so. 1 jet blackberry gu in the woods around 3m I think. My last .76 was at 7:37 pace according to my garmin. I had never gotten under 40m at this race before.
