No tape. Thicker toe socks, felt pretty good, but achilles/heel attachment hot and swollen by the time I got to Dr Fare at noon. ody pump felt good. It did feel better to run without the extra layer of sock edges below the edge of my shoe. Careful with that going forward and especially until this heals. I decided to skip body pump because I was way too late, and went into work earlier. May not have stretched well enough. Dr Fare suggested putting heel/achilles area in ice water to get the swelling down and cool it off, so the fluid can move and it has more room to go back to where it belongs. 1 week without running. Walking, spinning, swimming, body pump, eliptical,etc are all okay.
