First few miles with Mary Gay and Tom after meeting them at my mile 1. This was tough due to the humidity. I took GU at 4m h20 stop, succeed at 6, gu at 8, succeed at 10, gu at camp barrett and gatorade and water there also. Succeed at the 2 mile water stop, and another GU there was good. Some water at home around mile 16, before final cool down. Followed this up with body pump class after eating a peach, a banana, and downing a can of coconut water. That was super refreshing. Loved this route except for being alone for most of it. Felt great after body pump too. And stetching. Blue toe socks were really good inside these shoes, with some vaseline around callous area on big toes and around heels, arches, etc.
