4x 1.5mile @ 5:08 pace. I really wanted to hit pace for this, but just couldn't muster it. I blamed it on the headwind on the first two (7:44, 7:42), but there was a wind on the way back (more of a cross wind) and I wasn't much faster (7:39, 7:38). I don't know exactly why I wanted to be on pace so bad, maybe because I knew going into the workout that I wasn't going to hit pace. I think my legs are feeling a bit shot from the increased volume. I guess I didn't record last year's workouts on this website, but thinking back to last year I remember doing similar workouts (though maybe slightly slower and slightly shorter), but I was on 10-day cycles so had more recovery between workouts. I think I'm just having a hard time gauging how tired I should be during each workout and on each interval.
