Oh boy. This was a long hard one. I had a really full day coming off an exhausting week. I didn't get out the door until close to 7. The rain picked up again right when I started running. I did the first half of the workout on the outdoor track sans shoes, which felt great. But I got really cool on the rest between intervals because of the rain and a pretty strong wind out of the west. I definitely did not hit pace, but that was alright because I was at least even. Also, I was unclear about the 600m @ 42-48 pace. I figured the only way I would make it through 8 full sets was if I did 400m intervals instead of 600m.

1000m @ 3:03 pace, 200m jog

400m @ 70 pace, 400m jog

That was about all I had in me and by the last interval I was just tanked. I short cut the rest because it was late and I was getting tired. In the end I'm pretty damn happy with the result of the workout as I stuck it out. Now I'm tired and ready for bed.
