Felt more like a tempo than any thing else and while sore after, was not very tired like I should have been had I raced.
Saw a robin in the first half mile fighting another male, probably a territorial bout. Females build the nests and then males defend their territories. Robins can live almost 14 years and most if they make it past their first winter will live to about 6 or 7. The robins outside of your house know an amazing amount about you and your behavior as well as the behavior of every other animal living nearby. Pretty cool.
