Notes

In retrospect, I should've been pushing it a bit more on the first few mile repeats (w/ 1 min rest). It was snowy on the roads and super slick so I didn't feel like going much faster. The last mile felt strong. I felt like a predator afterwards and shifted my gait pattern to mirror a coyote. I felt my steps tighten up and fall more parallel. I've been noticing that my right shoulder's been pulling on my left hip which has splayed my left foot out more, so I'm more duck footed on that side. I haven't been quite able to tell how this might play out in overall stride efficiency as I haven't been able to detect more kickback on that side. The coyote gait seemed to minimize the splay, but it also minimized the upper speed I could run at. I wonder how I might imitate a coyote gallop rather than trot.
