What?! So good. Felt like a dream. Like I wasn't even working for it. I wouldn't say that my stride was necessarily smooth - I could still feel the clunkiness from my shin - but boy oh boy did I feel relaxed. Probably helped that this was my first workout of the week after 2 easy days and a day off, but still, to recover after being sick and a bum race this felt great. I'm not sure that it would have been all that difficult to hold that pace without the rest. This feels like the runner I am rather than Saturday's race.
