6x1000 with 3 minutes super slow jog/walk.
Sometimes I forget that workouts should be tough. But I think there's a difference between a tough work out and and going in feeling tired and coming out feeling the same kind of drained. I went in feeling tired, so figured I'd go for the slow end of the range for pacing. I hit 2:53 and felt really spent. The second one felt the same and I was ready to throw in the towel thinking this was just like the 8x800. I kept with it and was happy I was. While it was a struggle physically, I think it was much more of a mental battle.
