Barf. I really wanted to run even splits, but alas, having not done any consistent speed work since probably May or this summer, I just don't think I had the pace in my legs I wanted to run. So I hit:

70, 70, 71, 73 (4:44)

73, 73, 73, 72 pace (4:51)

Not bad to have those even splits there for the last mile. i don't know what this tells me about my fitness for a 24-hour race, but it felt awesome to run that fast and I'm looking forward to running some indoor races and then New Bedford.
