Yeehaw. What an easy workout. I remember in the summer before my Junior year in high school doing a ladder workout at Waverly. 1, 2, 3, 2, 1 mile at just under 6 minute pace. It was one of the hardest runs (including races) I had ever done. My freshmen year of college I ran 10:10 for my first 2 mile split in a 5 miler. I average 5:12 and broke my 2 mile and 5k PRs from high school in the process. It's crazy to think of how far I've come since then. With ease I basically ran a 31:30 10k. And I felt so relaxed doing it. I ran 2:26 for my first half and it felt like a jog, forcing myself to back off. Yesterday's run was super tough with the pouring rain and to come off that and be so ready to nail this workout was great great great.
