Doubled with the 5k then 1 mile.

5k: Ugh. Garbage race. I went out a bit too hard (68). I pulled back for the next few laps but by 1.5 miles I felt like I was struggling to stay on pace and just slowed more and more and couldn't ever get back on track. Super frustrating as I feel like I'm in better shape than this. In looking back at the last couple weeks however I had a half marathon, a 20 mile long run with 10 miles at marathon pace, and a ton of mileage in 80+ degree heat. So I think all in all I shouldn't be that disappointed with the effort.
