Not sure what happened on that first one, maybe just needed to get the legs moving. It felt super easy though. After that the workout was a breeze. I tried to run each one in control and even split the 400s. I was definitely more successful on the 2nd half. Workout was 10x800 @ 2:20-2:25 and I wanted to run slow-slow-fast / slow-fast-slow / fast-slow-slow / fast with fast @ 2:20 and slow at 2:24. I figured that would allow me to work on controlling my speed and give me a little recovery so I didn't drop off at the end. I sort of did what I was aiming for but was a bit fast on a couple of them. In the end, the workout was super easy and I kind of wish I had just run them all at 2:20.
