Surprisingly fast. It felt fast but it didn't feel like 6:25s. That's a good thing. I listened to a podcast with Deena Kastor and was feeling inspired and I wanted to run a bit faster so I let my legs go and ran a 5:11 on the last mile of the marathon course, jumped in the water, felt great, and ran home. A couple of weeks ago I wrote after a workout that would either make or break me and it feels like it's going to make me! Feeling strong, getting stronger.
