Absolutely miserable run. Warmed up around 5.5 miles and then did the Labor Day 15k course. Hit 5 miles at 28:30, then needed to take a break. My legs were tired and my head was exhausted. I just bonked. I tried doing the next part and hit 5:48, 5:45 or so then had to stop. I wound up walking a little bit then jogging at an excruciatingly slow pace back home. I just didn't have a whole let left in me. I think it's largely mental fatigue from just going constantly from when I wake up to when I go to bed teaching, prep work, admin stuff. Without any real downtime I just constantly having to be alert and focused on what I'm doing plus thinking about what's next. Without much sleep and a long workout on Sunday I just didn't have much in me. I did get about 10 hours of sleep last night, but it felt pretty tumultuous and I woke up a bunch. I feel a nagging sickness that seems to be knocking at the door but can't quite get in.
