Notes

A pretty long workout. Tough to hit pace, but I did and I think rather than making me more tired, I'll be able to build my health and strength from this workout leading into my long run and workouts next week. Which is great.

4x(1k @ 2:55-3:00, 2min jog, 400m @ 65-70, 3min jog), 6x200m strides at end

2.5 warm up

I was pretty even on pacing, but within each 1k I found it pretty tough to find a steady rhythm and I felt like I kept looking at my watch and realizing I'd either sped up or slowed down from pace. Those 30 second laps are easy peasy but the faster stuff still seems to be a struggle to hit. Maybe just because there's less room for error. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the effort and feel good with my week so far.
