Good lift today. Even with dropping reps and increasing weight, I am starting to feel stagnant especially on the leg exercises. Trap bar was a nice swap for the straight bar, but I'm getting less range of motion from using elevated grips so it was significantly easier. As I increase weight and decrease reps, I am thinking of adding a set on squat, dead lift and just staying at 10 reps on the mobility leg exercises (maybe adding a set). I enjoy the routine and do not want to get stagnant. I really would like to start supplementing with plyometrics on off days because I think that will add another dimension. We are doing hills at practice today so that will help.
I'm not sure if anything I'm doing is "by the books", but I enjoy experimenting and I do think it is helping with my running economy and balance.
