Knew I was feeling decent when I was jogging with Baloo. Just kept incrementally increasing the goal - sub 7:30 through 5, through 45, through 60, through 15k. Was planning on stopping when I hit Springfield but saw I was at 9.6 and figured I might as well finish it. I stopped twice for water because it’s pretty humid and I was well saturated by 3 miles. Surprised how fluid 7 minute pace was, gotta imagine new shoes helped. Felt a little something something in my IT around 6 and 7 but it went away. Really hoping to start building momentum. Gotta be more consistent with my mornings.
