15 minute warmup. 2x5' at Threshold, 16 x30 sec on, 30 sec off at 3k pace, and then ~ a 25 minute cooldown. It was very cold outside, but this workout wasn't that bad at all. The threshold was easy and it was with the wind the entire time. The 3k pace itself was not too bad. It is so hard to judge what you should be running (especially since none of us will run a 3k this year). If you go too fast you feel like you are sprinting, and if you go too slow, well... you feel slow, so finding a balance is tough. I think I found the proper balance because it was a pretty good effort today. Stomach problems after the run curtailed my lift.
