Notes
First race since preCOVID. Not one for the books. Stomach was a little bit off going into the race, but wasn't really a problem during the race. This was pretty much how I had planned out things going if they didn't go right. Just out in 5 minute pace and that felt hard and honestly didn't lean into the pain from there and just ran. The result was a pretty uncompetitive, over 5 mile for the first time since junior year of high school.
Anyways, not great, but happy the guys all ran well!
I am hopeful that this is the last page of the odyssey that was the last two years and now I can start the first page of what is next. I've got a spark, and can hopefully turn it into a flame this summer!
