Notes

The distance is a bit of an approximation, but we basically finished the 8 mile loop up to a little ways past the mile loop start (started at the end of the hill stage). I ran with Andrew. It was nice having to run this workout with someone. The workout went alright. The first one felt fine, perhaps a little too fast. The second one my legs did not feel too sharp and my stomach started acting up. The third one was the hardest. We entered the second hill stage and I fell probably 10-15 feet behind Andrew a couple minutes in. I kept the distance the same between us and made up a little ground towards the end, but my stomach was bothering me so I went to the bathroom before the last repeat. The last repeat started at BIg Bertha, so the first couple minutes were spent just getting up it and grinding the next quarter mile. After that, Andrew and I stuck together and finished pretty strong. My breathing was a little wacky today - it wasn't that I couldn't control it, there is just a lot of fluids coming out of my nose and it is hard to manage that (possibly allergies). Right now, at work an hour and a half later, I feel pretty good. So, I think I gave it a good effort. I think I gave the right effort.
