3 x 2 Mile with 90" recovery. Was looking for HMP because I wanted more than a threshold effort. The first one I felt like I was running a true threshold effort, but was trying to get to that next level. The second one I felt like I found it, but was very confused when I finished because I did know how far the distance was. I had forgotten the mapped location by about half a block. For some reason, this rattled me more than it should have and I carried it with me into the third one. Just felt like I could not focus during the third one and was battling through some stomach issues. Made a big push the last quarter mile and ended up finishing at the mapped 6th mile. I knew I had the total 6 miles mapped correctly, it was just that second stopping point that threw me. All in all, I am content with this. Felt like I did not deal with the mental fatigue as well as I have in the past, and felt like I had more to give when I was on the cooldown home, but I'll take it.
