They paved the whole trail so thought I’d try out the Next %s. Not too much to say. Winner blasted off and I tried to hang and did for about a mile and just tried to keep him in sight after. Just focused on doubling down on effort when I could feel myself letting up. Happy with the PR, sad to get crushed in spite of it and run another effort in no mans land. Hoping for more at footlocker
Found out that the person who beat me won the triple crown in cross country last year and ran 25:39 the week before for 8K. I don't feel as bad for getting second now.
