6-3-5-2-4-1 at 10K pace (30 second surge at 5k pace) w/ 1' recovery. Good workout on the treadmill. Felt like I got a pretty good effort in. 10K pace was at 5:50 and 5k pace was ~5:25. I felt very comfortable at the 10K pace, but those surges were tough in the middle especially coming back and finishing at 10K pace. I don't think I would have had the same efficiency or focus doing this on the roads. I chose the treadmill because I didn't want to travel more than 10 feet from my apartment because of the cold and snow. I'm gonna do speed on Friday.
I'm getting tired of my little 2-3 day lulls that I am making more and more routine. I am in better shape than I've been in at this point in the season and I feel like I'm wasting it. Still have 7+ weeks till Club Relays. Need to try to hang with some of the runningbuddiez the next couple days.
