Embarrassing, this probably goes down as one of my top 3 worst races I've ever completed. Had high expectations, thought a PR might be possible. I underestimated the heat and I underestimated my fatigue from this past weekend. I thought that I had given enough time in between to get a decent effort in today but maybe I needed more time. Times were around a minute slow around the board. It's been a day and I know that I shouldn't underestimate the impact of fatigue and also shouldn't expect to run fast just because I ran a lot of miles, however, it is hard not to be disappointed when you throw up a Leo Manzano-esque stink bomb like this. Just gotta regroup, enjoy the week in Hawaii and trust the process that things will go better come octobwr
