8x300 with 4xrest (3 minutes). I swapped for 200s the last 2 reps because I was dying out there. This was not the trend I wanted to see in the workout, with each 300 getting a little bit slower. We did this at 6 PM at the armory while the track was crowded with a bunch of people. It's hard enough by itself, but running and dodging people the whole time makes it even more of a struggle. After 4 I knew I was in trouble. My legs felt ok, but my lungs were holding me back. I haven't lost control of my breathing like I have in this workout all season. It was the same story with the workout before spring break. This is the one area where I am struggling a bit (speed endurance). I am confident that this workout will help me in the long run, but it was tough to see myself struggle so much today.
