Great run :)

The reason I don't give 10 stars for quality was because I had constant acid reflux throughout the run. Probably won't eat jumbalaya the night before a long run again. Legs felt great. First 10 went by without a hitch, didn't look at my watch, just running easy. Met John halfway through and got a couple sips of water. Peed, some lady saw too much of me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), whatever it happens.

Second lap went by pretty smoothly as well - there were many more people out on the trail, many groups of runners which was cool to see. Grabbed some groups gatorade at mile 16 because they said "not for the taking" so we took some. Mile 17 I cramped up pretty bad on my right side and it moved over to my left side as well. Not used to stomach cramps, but this one was rough. Some guy tried to step to us during the cramp, but we said nah, the cramp lessened and we left him behind. The last two miles went without a hitch. Got off the trail and picked it up the last quarter to marathon pace just to close.

V happy with today. Legs felt as good as they could have, I think taking the last two days easy helped. I've gotta start rethinking what I'm eating before big runs because even as I'm typing this I'm still burping up dinner last night. Will also make fluids easier to consume. Felt like I could have blasted off for another few miles sans the acid reflux, which is a great sign. Today was the first run where I really did feel fit. Won't be stupid tomorrow, easy miles the next couple days, but next week is a big week so I wanna make sure I get all the little things right.

Foot feels good, knee felt good while running, but is ok now.

coach riddle

nice progression towards your marathon......I think it would be great to do 2 loops of Clinton Lake trail sometime....can't remember if you have run it before or not
