Happy because I found the trail for this one. With the wedding this weekend, I moved the long run up to today to take it easy and enjoy the next couple days. Figured I'd do some alternating miles since I went steady on Tuesday for a bit. First mile was neighborhood running and still trying to find the fortitude to do this. During the first recovery mile, I made it on to the Hammel Woods Trail. Solid bike path running with some initial hills and then flattened out. Very pleased with the effort and I think the heart rate numbers show how things went. Third rep was the toughest, but I was surprised that I could knock out a 5:39 15 miles in today.

I think the point of emphasis has to be to not overdo things the next seven weeks. Fitness is in a good spot, just can't get greedy.
