Notes

Ran with some of the guys at work. Had to wake up pretty early to do so (5:40). It's so weird because I did this every day last summer (waking up at 5:30), but last weekend really put me in the hole in terms of sleep, so trying to catch up has been fruitless. Anyways, the run went fine; a little bit further than I wanted to go and one of the guys was running 5 steps ahead the whole time. Rob gave me some good advice at the end, just saying I'm young so I should not be discouraged by being injured for the majority of last year. Coming from him, that's saying something because he's dealt with a lot of injuries and he just ran 69 in the half and 15:02 in the 5k at 38 years old! So, I'm looking forward to an hour of running being easy again (although I was not breathing hard). I mainly just have to get used to weight training. Split squats the other day killed me and right now, an hour after the run, I'm hurting.
