Ate 2 packets oatmeal 2 hours before start. Very cool - 37-40 and windy - like 10-15mph winds. 1 mile warm up with striders. 4,000 runners/walkers. First mile felt effortless - at least first .8 o so. Couldnt believe I was running he pace I was. 2nd mile felt much tougher. Also was running into the wind. Focused had to maintain goal pace. Final mile I found another runner to maintain pace with, took it .25 at a time - started to increase pace with about 1/2 mile to go - kicked hard fo final .1. Missed "post 30 years" PR by 10 seconds - had no idea. Totally flat course around Phillies and Eagles stadiums.
