Hurt Achilles in July, so took month+ off from training and used bike/elliptical when possible. Stayed downtown in hotel, made Am easier. Usual 2 packs of oatmeal with cinn. and full glass of water - some pretzels close to start of race. Goal was <1:55 - Felt good most of race until about mile 8 - heat/humidity started to take its toll. GPS was off on distance - at first I thougth course markers were off and disregarded it but GPA had me at 13.44 miles instead of 13.1 - result was I relied on GPS for pacing. Still ran strong finished fine - uphill last few hundred yards. Took at Gu slowly around mile 6.5-7.5. Did have stomach cramps later in race for short period of time.
