so I ran the same course that I did last night except instead of a loop, I went up one side of the mountain and down the other and then reveresed the course. There are easily 2 full miles of uphill with at least a 1/2 mile of fairly steep paths. I did the last mile with 6 x 40 secs ... If I can make it to the beach tonight, I am going to try doing my 10 mile on Friday am instead of Sat and see how we do. Anyway, I feel good

PS -- I am not certain that the course I ran is exactly 5 miles ... I sort of doubt that it is b/c my pace wasn't race pace.
