same loop that I ran 2 weeks ago but added .9 miles to the end of it. Started out pretty well ... first 2.5 has some hills and the balance is mostly flat. Applied some Icy /Hot to both calfs before I ran. Both my knees and calfs feel OK right now and I can still feel the Icy/Hot working [2.5hrs after I started.] As for the run, I was on the same pace as 2-weeks ago ... that is sub 8-minute miles through the first 7 miles ... something got into my head and the legs felt like lead weights. I ended up walking about a 1/2 mile between mile 7 and 8 and then ran the rest of the course feeling pretty dissapointed. Ultimately I finished the 10 miles which is the longest distance since HS, but the quality was pretty lacking. [Not that it is any excuse, but I had a 10 mile out and back loop mapped out for the beach [Lavallette - Bay Head and back] ... but we ended up not going to the shore last night b/c there are supposed to be t-storms all day today.

Physical note -- my nipples are pretty sore; knees and calfs feel OK; I have two small blisters on the arch of my left foot and the toe nail on my middle left two is really tender ... I am still bald -- thought the running might bring back the hair.
