Pretty dissapointed after a good race last week... somehow I just get carried away with the crowd and was wholly unprepared for the hills. First 2x's up the big hill at the north end of the park ... no big deal ... 3rd time -- holy crap! 3 loops in central park ... probably about 7k runners ... pleny of fluid ... gels at mile 6 and 12. You can see how things went down hill [again] after mile 15. I have to run these longer runs at 9 minute + miles the whole time.
