Notes

Exhausted and bad stomach the day/night before. Was gonna take it as a hilly training run ... Started down hill and decided to get ahead on time so I could give some back on the hills later. Never really slowed down the effort, only increased it. About 12th place half way through and fought to keep that. On the hills folks were coming back so decided to start hunting them down. Ran conservative up hills, worked the flats, and hammered the downs. Traded places with guys around me lots in last 3 miles. Surprised to finish 5th. GPS came short but manually measure gave 13.18 and I could see where corners, curves, and switchbacks were chopped off on my run. Happy with the run and effort.
