Notes

Ran today's run on the Mohawk-Hudson Trail along the Mohawk River north of Albany, NY. All of the run was on the Mohawk-Hudson Marathon course.

Pfitz called for 16 miles with 12 at marathon pace. I did 17.4 with 13.1 at marathon pace...actually six seconds per mile faster. It was much, much easier than the 9 mile marathon pace run I did in June. I could have easily kept going. This is encouraging.

Ran the Half Marathon after an almost 4 mile warm up in 1:36:06 (7:20 pace) and could have kept going or could have ran it a lot harder. Last feb I ran a HM race in 1:36:34 and was wasted. Today I put in a better run and finished fresh. Again, encouraging.

Legs were not wasted and gave no problems through the rest of the day. Actually, I can't believe I just ran almost 17.5 miles at a 7:35 pace so easily. Very encouraging.

4.28 miles warm up and down in 35:44 at 8:20 pace.

Forgot to start garmin again after brief stop in first mile. Measured it on the way back at .35 miles. 17.07 + .35 (2:50) = 17.42 Total
