Notes

Set it at 12% and increased left it for first two minutes. HR hovered around 150. I realized if I focused on breathing and relaxing I could drop it about three beats per minute. Spent the third and next half mile increasing the speed to feel what the increased heart rate felt like. Anything 155 or below was "comfortable" but things got uncomfortable quickly above 160. For reference I've run a half at 1:23 with a 168 average HR. I don't see that HR happening on the hill. in the 150s I could feel the lactic acid slowly building. In the 160s I could feel it quickly building.

252.9 for the month with 4 days off. Last month had 3 days off and 251 miles. A decent 500 miles for the 59 days with an average of about 8.5 miles a day. At this rate I might just have done enough work to finish Boston next month.
