I kind of did a Progression run today. My plan was to go 2 miles easy and then go 2 miles at 6:30 pace, just to see what I can do. I ran the first two miles, feeling pretty good (8:11, 8:06), then I started the fast part. I made it one mile in 6:27, but I knew there was no way I could make it another mile at the same pace. So I jogged it in as a cool down and called it good. Overall actually a good run. It felt good to go a decent pace once again. The first half mile or so felt good, If I did 400/800 repeats at 6:30 I could probably get a couple out.
