Notes

Did some 400s today in the Shell. I'm thinking of racing the Valentine's day 5k next weekend to see what type of shape I'm in. My plan was to do 8x400 at 1:30 (6 flat pace), with a 200m jog in between each. I did a 2 mile warm up and 2 mile cool down, and drills before the workout. Initially going into this I thought it would be too easy and I should increase my pace, but this actually ended up being a really good workout. I'm hoping to run 6 flat pace if I do the 5k, but I'm not so sure about that after this. The workout was tough but doable, I felt like I could've gone a but faster or done more, I wasn't straining that much, but I wasn't completely comfortable either. It was definitely a good workout for where my fitness is at! I can't wait to get back at it! #GRIND
