Notes
Dyslexia Dash 5k at the Lawrence School in Northfield.
Small inaugural event. About 130 finishers. Courtney did a great job race directing. Not a PR course. The out-and back was generally downhill for mile 1 and climbed back up in the third mile.
Also, the race format was a prediction run. No timing devices allowed.
Map and elevation graph viewable in the map tab above. I captured it during my warm-up on the course.
Typical start with a dozen or more kids sprinting out. Caught most of them by .25 mile and into third. Into first place by .75 and never pressed from there. Wish I had the mile and two mile split cause it was quick. I imagine the third mile slow on the uphill.
Felt like a good effort. Temps crisp, clear and perfect for racing.
