Well this was completely unexpected. Luis asked me how I thought this would go and I replied "well, not a PB anyway!". Didn't really expect to get a course record as my legs were feeling a bit tired from a restless night's sleep.
I ran fairly comfortably all the way round and was behind a very pretty girl that I never managed to catch. I felt I could have pushed harder but I was fairly exhausted at the end. Again the watch had the course as 4.94 but still pleased to PB on such a hilly course. Sub-21 perhaps at Strathclyde
