Easy Run

5th Fri in a row where is either poured prior or raining. Wore my "worn out" GelFlux2's given the rain. Started at HarrisY in pouring cold rain & ran loops of parking for the first 2+ miles (legs felt sore/tired to start & felt a little better after the first mile, big puddles everywhere & shoes got soaked). Stopped raining. Did a 1/2 loop then ran out parking lot up Quail Hollow left down Sharon & left on Sharon Acres (mi 3 - no clue how I could slow this badly as this was mostly downhill except that w/the rain/mist/darkness it was hard to see & I was not confident in my foot plants given how uneven sidewalk was so I must have unconsciously slowed), continued up & down right on Whistlestop for 100m then looped back left up Sharon Acres then down then right up Sharon passing Chandsworth (mi 4 - this was all uphill & the steep hill up Sharon Acres yet I ran this much faster vs mi 3 - focused on maintaining cadence??), continued up Sharon right on Quail Hollow left into Elementary School to back parking lot running two loops around lot (mi 5 - focused on cadence, maintained rhythm, began to feel tired right at mi 5), ran around & then 4 wide laps of 200m track in back of school & then up & out & down Heathstead back into Y parking lot (final .85mi - get a "2nd wind" and ran strongly along the track).
