Easy Run
Ran this in/around Phillips Pl, wore the new Puma Speed 500 2's. Temp & humidity much higher today vs prior 4-5 days. The goal running this was to run the first 2 miles very easy & then run the final part strong. Ran in/around Palm/hotel & small lot (mi 1 - I felt really "flat", had no "spring" in my step, I could sense it was more of an effort on each step & this felt like 10 min pace), ran another loop in the upper portion & then up & right down Fairview & into entrance to small lot running one loop & then out the entrance & back in (mi 2 - I purposely picked up the pace thinking I ran 10 min pace on mi 1 but this felt like 9:30 pace yet I was very wrong), ran into cinema lot & ran 6+ loops (mi 3 & 3-3.3 mi - I ran this at the same perceived level as last week yet today ran this much faster since I guess I'm getting stronger - and the final 1/3 mi felt the same as the mile prior but in reality it was much faster). I do feel faster in these new shoes.
