I guess we'll call this a progression run. After the first mile I picked up the pace a little and just focused on running smooth, moderate effort. I thought I was running low 7's. Saw a 6:51 on the watch and decided to hold it. Next mile 6:51, and I'm thinking are you serious? I'm never that consistent. Next mile another 6:51. Sped up a little next two, focusing on effort, then again the last two. Last mile I was aiming for a 5:59, not too far off. Jogged in the rest. Pretty moderate level of effort.
