Notes

Run started out crappy, I got nosebleed less then a mile in. It continued to bleed off and on until mile 6. Before that point I was wonder if this was going to turn into a blood fest with me as the victim, and I would have to call it quits.

Trails were frozen on the way out, not really bad footing wise except for a few icy patches. I was hoping to get to go at least a few miles up DesPlaines River trail and cover some new ground, but the underpass was flooded at 176 and had to go so far on the bike path connecting the two that by the time I got to DPR, I only ran .5 miles on it.

By mile 8 I was running into 15 MPH winds until about mile 16 turn around. Mile 10 the nose started to bleed again, but went away faster this time. Last 7 miles the trails had thawed and it was a mess, plus I was running into the 15 MPH winds again. I almost classified this as a trail run except only about 1/4 of the route was challenging enough to call trail conditions...
