Notes

Really like these shoes. They are light and springy and even when I kick rocks in these shoes it is easy to recover because they don't feel like dragging a lead weight around.

Ran the Nordic trail out to near Emma Carlin (about 14 miles out) then turned around. Came in and filled up the camel back and then back out for another twelve. I ran most of the hilliest sections of the Ice Age 50 course, the only part I didn't hit was Rice lake because it was too far in the other direction and mostly flat in between. Overall went well, the pace felt nice and controlled, heat was okay and even though it got to 75 it was not humid at all. Only minor hip/hamstring nagging, but considering I hit 95 miles for the week during the run not overly surprising.
