Notes
THis workout was so hard. 5 x 1 mile at 6:20-6:30 with 3min jog recoveries.
I don't know if it was b/c I only got 3min recovery between each mile ( and I usually get 5min) or b/c I am not feeling great, or b/c it's freezing, windy and raining..... but I wanted to quit after mile 2 so bad. I kept making deals in my head to get myself to do JUST ONE MORE... lol
by mile 4 I convinced myself I would just throw in the towel for the day. I have never felt this lethargic on mile repeats before. but I HATE to quit, so then I decided it was better to do the last repeat even if it was a bit slower than not do it at all.
here's how it went:
mile 1 6:08 oops. too fast.
mile 2: 6:15
Mile 3: 6:19
Mile 4 : 6:17
*here's where I wanted to be done. so I made a deal with myself and let myself run it slower rather than not do it at all. I sort of copped out:/
Mile 5: 6:30
SO glad I only have one more mile repeats workout left before Boston!
