Notes

Pretty good mid-week long run, though it was pretty windy. Also, around mile 7, I took an exploratory turn toward to the D&R canal, ended up on a trail-type path, which abruptly ended at a swamp :) I turned around and forged my way toward Kingston along the opposite side of the canal where the path is riddles with stones. This slowed me down a bit, then I hit an intensely steep climb to get back to the road. 1.5 miles later I had my stride back, but the last three miles were tough because of the wind and because I was feeling lethargic. I didn't have any powerbar gel with me, and had only eaten breakfast several hours earlier. So, I'm not surprised I was running low on gas. Still, it was a good run overall. Some knee discomfort in miles 13 and 14, and also mile 6.

Lots of big miles! 11 Tuesday, 15 Wednesday. Solid stuff. Keep that knee in check and you are going to kill this marathon.
